Last night (November 7) saw the launch of Aperol Spritz Sunset Sessions at Bondi Icebergs in Bondi in celebration of Aperol’s Summer Sessions. For readers not from Australia, Bondi Icebergs is located right next to Bondi beach and has the spectacular views of Sydney’s most famous beach.
Guests included Luke Sales (from Romance Was Born), Alice McCall, Rochelle Fox as well as a surprise cameo appearance by Jackass’ Johnny Knoxville who’s in Sydney to promote his new film Bad Grandpa. (In case you’re wondering, the critics haven’t exactly loved it.)
Aperol guests were treated to canapés and the key drink of the night, Aperol Spritz, whilst listening to summer tunes provided by DJs Slow Blow and Canyons. Of course, like all the guests, we crowded around the balcony to enjoy the stunning Bondi Beach view on the balcony while admiring the famous Icebergs pool, which was illuminated orange.
For those in Sydney, the Aperol Sunset Sessions will continue every Sunday afternoon throughout November at Bondi Icebergs and will then move to Watson’s Bay Hotel from mid-December.
On top of this, to celebrate their launch, Aperol Spritz will be hosting a competition for your change to win: 2x Economy airfares return to Milan, 5 Nights accommodation, Airport transfers, $2,000 spending money and an Aperol Experience. Just go and like the Apertivo Hour Australia Facebook page (like Hommestyler’s too), take your best sunset photo hashtagging #aperolsunsets and upload your best snap to the Apertivo Hour Australia page competition tab for your chance to win.
PS. If you’re thinking of trying Aperol at home, check out their website for a list of recipes.
