According to Country Road‘s latest 2013 Campaign for Spring/Summer menswear, indigo is the new black.
This season, the go-to brand for every Australian man calls on German model Lars Burmeister as the face to show off their new range of dashing urbanwear featuring a swathes of blues, deep navy and and greys. Part-preppy and part-dandy, there are tri-colour tartan prints and gingham checks, as well as nautical touches which are perfect for the sunny Australian weather.
Country Road have also focused in their denim this season, with a range of rinses designed to age well with wear. There are also vintage touches to the pieces, like the varsity jacket and suede bombers. The nylon sailing jackets are a nod to the 90s sportwear whilst the pale houndstooth jacket caters to men looking for something a bit different. As always, the brand also has some basic tees and polos in lightweight cotton for those who like their wardrobe staples.
