By now, our readers should know we’re particular about smell. Whether it’s in our cologne or skin care products, we’re turned off when a scent is too strong and overpowering. Luckily for us, we came across the Geo. F. Trumper Sandalwood Shaving Cream – a moisturizing shaving cream minus the mass produced scent often associated with similar products.
Geo. F. Trumper is the famed British barber and perfumer that has been in business for over 125 years, and it’s products like the Sandalwood Shaving Cream that attest it’s noted reputation. The thick, creamy texture gives a remarkable latherability and the scent, as we mentioned, is favourably subtle. The use of stearic acid, myristic acid and glycerin give the cream a decent moisturizing quality.
Whilst the tube packaging could be improved, the Geo. F. Trumper Sandalwood Shaving Cream is worth a try. The cream also comes in a bowl packaging. If you’re not a fan of sandalwood, try the coconut oil, violet, almond, rose or Spanish leather scents. All available here.
