The story of cult sunglasses brand Linda Farrow is a forty year affair. In the 1970s, Ms Farrow enlisted the help of her then husband to launch a range of sunglasses, the result was a roaring success. Her eponymous eyewear label took the 70s by storm and the public’s love for sunglasses to feverish heights. In 2003, after Ms. Farrow’s son discovered a back catalogue of over 2,000 sunglasses, the Linda Farrow brand was relaunched.
Nowadays, Linda Farrow is famed for its designer collaborations as it is for its clean and classic aesthetics. Designers who have worked with the brand include heavyweight names like Dries Van Norten, Oscar de la Renta and Kris Van Assche – all of which have designed sunglasses specifically for men.
The eyewear brand also has special projects with urban designers like Jeremy Scott, KTZ and Walter Van Beirendonck which will no doubt get heads turning. Who said mens’ sunglasses weren’t exciting?
