We don’t often feature furniture brands on HommeStyler, so when we do, you know it’s going to be good. Timothy Oulton may be familiar to our British readers, but everywhere else, the brand is still under the radar. And even more under the radar are their men’s bags, including their luggage range which includes these Raleigh Spitfire Cases. Timothy Oulton is famous for their high quality furniture, so it’s no surprise their bags are equally well-made.
These Raleigh Spitfire Cases are inspired by the historic English spitfire airplane in World War II, echoing the plane’s multi-riveted construction of interlocking aluminium panels. The cases are finished through a five-stage process that creates an impression of worn, distressed metal.
The Raleigh’s name pays tribute to the eponymous British explorer, soldier, historian and poet Sir Walter Raleigh. Available in four sizes, these cases are lined with a fighter jet blueprint suedette and are eye-catching as they are durable.
Whilst the Timothy Oulton website claims the Raleigh Spitfire Case can be used as a briefcase and luggage, we’re inclined to use it as the latter.
